ARTICLE 13 - NEWSLETTER, PROSPECTING, LIVE CHAT AND AUDIENCE MEASUREMENT
Update of 20 October 2026.
13.1 Newsletter
You can subscribe to the ALNOTRA newsletter from the footer of the site, by ticking the box provided in the contact form or in the welcome form of the live chat. Subscription is based on your consent (article 3.4): it is never presumed, no box is pre-ticked, and creating a customer account does not subscribe you to the newsletter. A welcome email confirms the subscription.
Data processed: email address, name if you provided it, date of subscription, language and market (Algerian or French site), and the origin of your visit described in article 13.3.
You can unsubscribe at any time through the link at the bottom of every newsletter, without justification; your address is then removed from the mailing list. We send a few emails a year.
Customer accounts also receive the emails required to perform the contract (invoices, credentials, incidents, maintenance), on the basis of article 3.1.
13.2 Prospecting file and customer relationship
Requests you send us through the contact form, the live chat or the newsletter subscription are recorded in our customer relationship management tool, with your contact details, the content of your message and its date, in order to answer them and to follow up commercially (articles 3.3 and 3.4). Customer accounts appear there with their billing details and a summary of their orders.
Retention period: data of a prospect without a customer account is deleted three years after the last contact (article 5); data of a customer follows the term of the contract and the legal obligations. Deleting a customer account deletes its record in the customer relationship tool and removes it from the mailing lists.
13.3 Origin of visits and partner codes
When you reach the site from a campaign, a third-party site or a partner link, we may record the origin of the visit (campaign parameters of the address, referring site, landing page, date, partner code) for the duration of your session, in order to measure our campaigns and to remunerate our partners. This information is written to a cookie, for 90 days, only if you accept the "marketing" category of the banner (article 9); it is attached to your account when the account is created.
13.4 Live chat
The live chat module only loads at your request, when you click the "Chat" button. Conversations, the email address and the name you provide are kept for twelve months after the last exchange, in order to follow up your request (articles 3.1 and 3.3), then deleted.
13.5 Audience measurement
Traffic on the site is measured by a tool hosted on our own servers that sets no cookie and keeps no data allowing you to be identified: statistics are aggregated (page views, geographic origin at country level, device type). Your browser's "Do Not Track" setting is honoured. This measurement falls under our legitimate interest (article 3.3) and does not require your consent.
13.6 Hosting and processors
The newsletter, the customer relationship tool, the live chat and the audience measurement are free software operated by ALNOTRA on its own servers. None of this data is entrusted to a third-party provider or transferred abroad (article 6.4). Emails are routed through ALNOTRA's mail server.
13.7 Your rights
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, objection and erasure described in article 8 on all of these processing operations, by email to the address given in article 12. Withdrawal of your consent to the newsletter is exercised through the unsubscribe link; withdrawal of your consent to cookies, through the "Cookies" link at the bottom of every page.
